This modified version of our original LeakTrac Light Cover is used to perform a quick check to determine if the light is leaking. The opaque acrylic dome with gasket is held over the light with a suction cup that sticks to the light lens. Isolated light can be checked for leaks by performing a dye test just outside a small diameter opening*. If the light is leaking, dye will be pulled through the opening indicating further inspection is necessary. Dye dissipating without being pulled into the opening indicates no water loss from light.
